February Prayer Requests

We always need people to be committed to praying for us on a daily basis. Here is a list of our prayer requests for February:

1. Visa’s…..We still have not been granted work permits or business visa’s. We are currently just on tourist visa’s. Please pray with us that a miracle wil happen and we will get a long-term resident visa.

2. We are going to Thailand next week for about 3 weeks. The first week will be a vacation time for our family in southern Thailand while the rest of the time we will be with Tamara’s sister and brother-in-law in northern Thailand as they prepare for their 3rd child. Pray that our vacation time is relaxing and refreshing, that we will have safe travels and that Tamara’s sister delivers her baby without any complications.

3. The guesthouse will be reopening in early March after being closed for the winter low season. Pray that business goes well this year, that we will do a good job managing the staff and that the the guesthouse will be a tool that we can use to reach the local Tibetan community.

4. Continue to pray for the earthquake survivors in Yushu prefecture. This has been a long, cold winter and living conditions in the region have been a nightmare. Many Tibetans from the area have relocated to Lhasa as it will still be at least another 2 or 3 years until the region is rebuilt. We have heard confirmed reports of several Tibetans from Yushu coming to know Jesus over the past few months, which is huge when you consider there are only a handful of known Christians in all of Kham (an area of Tibet larger than Texas)!

5. Pray that we will be able to take out a secondary health insurance policy for our son Tyler. Tyler will need to have his birthmark around his eye removed next year, but we will first need to take out a second insurance policy for him in order to have the surgeries done in the US. Pray that he will get accepted for complete medical coverage in the US.

We hope that all of you are doing well. As always, send us a quick email or leave us a comment on our website. It is always encouraging to hear from you!

Blessings!
